Message from the Hon'ble Chief Minister
“The government employees are the backbone of the state. Their dedication and service drive Sikkim forward. We remain committed to ensuring their welfare, dignity and growth. It is our duty to safeguard the rights and interests of every government servant — from service conditions to retirement benefits. Together, we shall build a Sikkim where every employee feels valued, respected and empowered to serve the people of this great state with pride and purpose.”

Serving those who serve Sikkim.
ASGEA is the collective voice of thousands of government employees across all six districts of Sikkim. Since 1977, we have been championing the rights, welfare and dignity of Group C and Group D employees — advocating for better service conditions, mutual support and collective progress.
Championing the rights of every employee.
From service condition improvements to welfare schemes, ASGEA stands as a steadfast advocate for the interests of Group C and Group D employees across the state.
A shared mission of service and solidarity.
For over five decades, our Association has stood beside every Group C and Group D government employee of Sikkim — from the tea gardens of the South and the terraced villages of the West, to the frontier posts of the North and the Secretariat corridors of Gangtok. Across directorates, schools, health centres, forest check-posts and remote field stations, the non-gazetted workforce is the quiet thread that keeps the machinery of the State in motion, and its dignity and voice are inseparable from the welfare of the State itself.\n\nSince 1975, ASGEA has worked patiently and without political colour on the concerns that matter most to a serving employee — fair pay, pension, medical and legal aid, welfare for families, and dignified service conditions at every posting. We have represented members before successive State administrations and Pay Commissions with responsibility and restraint. Our group insurance, scholarship and pre-retirement programmes exist because members built and sustained them through modest contributions and shared trust.\n\nI warmly invite every eligible Group C and Group D employee to join us — register, participate in our programmes, attend district chapter meetings, and strengthen this collective voice. Unity turns individual grievance into a considered proposal, and a single request into policy reform. Together we will safeguard service interests, uphold ethical conduct, and work for the prosperity, peace and harmony of our Himalayan home.
